Zine Review
Harmonic Content Issue 1
Harmonic Content 001 - The inaugural issue of what I personally hope has a bright and long-lasting future. Created and edited by Dante Fumo, Harmonic Content opens with a history of how the zine came to be published and a cultural manifesto to set the tone. We move forward to an interview with Matt Boudreau from Working Class audio podcast which reflects on the human (rather than technical) side of audio production. There's a meditation on making ambient sound and music from game sound designer Matthew Marteinsson. Every page in Harmonic Content seems infused with the sheer joy of working and playing with sound. Immediately this zine becomes a reference for the rest of us.
